Abstract
This is my abstract about Advocating for Access to Arts Education in New York City's Low Resourced Schools. It will explore the benefits of arts education on students as a society, the problems associated with the lack of arts education and the many ways we can advocate for it to be integrated into low resourced schools more. I used my personal experience as research and I also interviewed a student who is an alumni at a low resourced school for another perspective. Through this project I hope to open doors for conversations about arts education and the importance of it. I wish for a world where arts education is available to anyone regardless of where they come from.
