Abstract
“do not think to see” is an 18-minute video with nine individual sequences. The video guides the viewer through a journey that explores mindfulness and compassion. I combined video, stop motion photography, still photography, and my poetry to create places and concepts that depict different levels of awareness as well as a greater understanding of our world. I collaborated with a student from Purchase College’s music department, Madison Hitchcock. We worked together on all the composed music and voice-overs for the peace.
