Abstract
The American Heart Association has devised a comprehensive course designed to challenge and ultimately prepare the student to perform several facets of life saving measures to victims of cardiopulmonary arrest and/or compromise. In addition, students will be schooled on the proper interventions of First Aid to victims of trauma, learning simple, life saving measures and interventions. Students will be taught and tested per these standards and upon successful completion, be issued certifying documentation per the AHA.
