Abstract
In a world dominated by media and the Internet, the role of the politician has drastically changed from that of a public servant to a celebrity figure. This trend has gone as far back as the 1980s, starting with former President Ronal Reagan. In this thesis project, I will discuss the downfalls of electing celebrities as government workers.
