Abstract
Excess salt in soils can hinder plant growth by interfering with water uptake leading to nutrient imbalances and plant death. We measured several parameters such as height, leaf size, and biomass of the mustard, Brassica rapa. Preliminary results did not reveal a consistent growth response across treatments. After collecting the data, we observed that salt negatively impacted the growth in both the 2 ppt and 15 ppt treatments. However, the 10 ppt treatment was an outlier, showing no apparent negative effects on growth despite the salt being applied.​
