Abstract
In her piece, "Headspace", Emma Shickell utilizes projections and acrylic plexiglass to explore the idea of headspace mediating one's reality. In this essay, "A Journey Into Headspace", she explains her process of research and creation while exploring the semiotics of Duchamp's "The Creative Act". She aims to explore topics of social media, anxiety, and technology in relation to her project.
